Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Patch Makes Early Exploration a Little Easier
The effect of early Scadutree Blessings has been increased, granting a boost to damage and damage resistance for most players during their first hours in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

A new patch for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree has arrived, and it offers a balancing lifeline to those struggling with the DLC's early difficulty.
The main adjustments in the patch relate to the Scadutree Blessing system. By collecting Scadutree Fragments and spending them at a Site of Grace, Shadow of the Erdtee players can both increase the damage they deal and reduce the damage they take within the DLC land. They're essential items, because enemies within the Land of Shadow hit hard. Very hard.
The new patch boosts the effects of the first half of the total Scadutree Blessing enhancements players can earn within the DLC. The second half of blessing upgrades have been made more gentle, in turn. That means anyone who's already upgraded their Scadutree Blessing a few times in the early hours should notice an immediate boost to their damage and resistance.
It's a change that makes exploring the right areas of the DLC early all the more important. But provided you've been rigorous in your ventures, it should make the fairly brutal early bosses of the Divine Beast Dancing Lion and Rellana, Twin Moon Knight that little bit easier to best. In other words, this is your cue to give them another crack if you were feeling beaten.

We have confirmed a bug where the raytracing settings are automatically enabled if you have previously loaded saved data from previous game versions.
If your framerate is unstable, please check in the 'SYSTEM' > 'Graphics Settings' > 'Raytracing Quality' settings from the title menu or in-game menu to check if it has been unintentionally set to 'ON'. Once set to 'OFF', Ray Tracing will no longer be automatically enabled.
