The Max Out Finale event is coming soon to Pokemon Go, marking the end of the Max Out season in the free-to-play mobile game.

Here’s what you need to know about the Max Out Finale event!

Event date and time

The Max Out Finale event will run from Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. local time until Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 8 p.m. local time.

New Pokemon added with this event

Once the Max Out Finale event begins, players will be able to collect Galarian Corsola and Cursola in Pokemon Go. Galarian Corsola will have the chance to hatch from 7 km Eggs that are collected during this event, and it will be possible for Galarian Corsola to be Shiny.

Players will be able to evolve Galarian Corsola into Cursola using 50 Corsola Candy.

In addition, once this event begins, players will be able to encounter Shiny Regieleki and Shiny Regidrago in Pokemon Go.

Event bonuses

During the Max Out Finale event, three in-game bonuses will be active:

  • 5,000 bonus XP when completing Raids
  • 1/2 Egg hatch distance
  • The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 10

Wild encounters

The following Pokemon will appear more frequently than normal in the wild during the Max Out Finale event:

  • Grookey
  • Scorbunny
  • Sobble
  • Skwovet
  • Wooloo
  • Falinks

Skwovet, Wooloo, and Falinks will have the chance to be Shiny.

Hatenna will also have the chance to appear in the wild during this event, though it will be rarer than the other featured Pokemon. As of this writing, Hatenna can’t be Shiny in Pokemon Go.

Here’s the Raid lineup for the Max Out Finale event:

One-Star Raids

  • Grookey
  • Scrobunny
  • Sobble

Three-Star Raids

  • Galarian Weezing
  • Falinks

Five-Star Raids

  • Zacian
  • Zamazenta
  • Regieleki
  • Regidrago

Mega Raids

  • Mega Altaria

Garlaian Weezing, Falinks, Zacian, Zamazenta, Regieleki, Regidrago, and Mega Altaria will have the chance to be Shiny.

Eggs

The following Pokemon will have the chance to hatch from 7 km Eggs that are collected during the Max Out Finale event:

  • Galarian Meowth
  • Galarian Ponyta
  • Galarian Slowpoke
  • Galarian Farfetch’d
  • Galarian Corsola
  • Galarian Zigzagoon
  • Galarian Darumaka
  • Galarian Yamask
  • Galarian Stunfisk

All of these Pokemon will have the chance to be Shiny.

Field Research tasks

Players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks during the Max Out Finale event to receive Stardust and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.

Premium Timed Research

During the Max Out Finale event, players will have the option to spend $5 on a ticket that will give them access to premium Timed Research. If players complete the Timed Research before time runs out, they’ll receive encounters with event-themed Pokemon and an event-themed pose for their avatar.

PokeStop Showcases

PokeStop Showcases will be active during the Max Out Finale event, which will focus on event-themed Pokemon.

Collection Challenges

Players will be able to complete Collection Challenges during the Max Out Finale event to receive experience points, Rare Candy, and Silver Pinap Berries.

Premium event ticket

During the Max Out Finale event, players will have the option to spend $10 on a ticket that will give them access to a series of bonuses during the event:

  • Five extra Raid Passes each day from spinning the Photo Disc at Gyms
  • 5,000 extra experience points when completing Raids
  • Three extra Candy when catching Pokemon in five-star Raids
  • One extra Candy XL when catching Pokemon in five-star Raids.

Pokemon Go Web Store event box

Players will have the option to purchase the Seasonal Delights Box from the Pokemon Go Web Store. Priced at 6,095 PokeCoins, the bundle will contain 40 Super Incubators, 40 Incubators, three Remote Raid Passes, five Premium Battle Passes, and one Max Particle Pack.
